Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) is a scheme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India provides an excellent opportunity to the Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Non-Resident Indians (NRI) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) to study in various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in premier Indian technical institutions (National Institutes of Technology (NITs)/ Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs)/ Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST)/ Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs)/ and various other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions in India (CFTIs). DASA 2025 is conducted by NIT Calicut. This is officially announced by the DASA Website. And DASA 2025 Brochure has already been released on the official site of DASA for NRI/OCI/PIO candidates. You can also download the DASA 2025 Brochure from the given link below.

The admissions to various undergraduate and post-graduate programs of premier institutes in India under the DASA Scheme would be made by the JEE Main Score 2025.

Eligibility for DASA/CIWG Scheme

Direct Admission to Student Abroad program ("DASA") Information Brochure mandating Indian Nationals to complete at least two years of education, including their 11th and 12th grade of education in a Foreign Country during the last eight years, and further mandatory. 

Academic Eligibility Criteria for NRI Students as per DASA 

1. Students must clear class 11th & 12th from any recognized board outside India.

2. Students must have Physics and Mathematics as main subjects in classes 11th & 12th.

3. There is no minimum marks criteria for 2025.

4. Students must qualify JEE mains exam as per the cut-off.

5. NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and FNs who are residing and studying abroad for the last 2 years can apply.

6. There is no age limit for attempting JEE Main. 

7. Students who appeared for the class 12th exam but the result is awaited and are likely to get the result this year 2025, can also apply.
