Andhra Polytechnic was established at Kakinada, East Godavari District headquarters, in the year 1946, by the Madras State government. Land measuring 29 acres on lease for 99 Years. The main building and the Laboratories became operational from 1955.

• Maintain linkage with companies, industries and professional experts for imparting practical learning to the students and for good employability.

• Providing Non-Formal training programs.
