Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) has been playing a key role towards planned economic growth from the time of its inception. On the one hand it has been empowering youth by providing them appropriate knowledge and employable skills so that they may get gainful employment and on the other hand it has been providing trained technical-skilled manpower to meet the contemporary needs of the world of work. In this pursuit, Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has been established vide Gazette notification no. F.14(65)/LA-2020/cons2law/82-91 Dated 26th May 2020. All the 11 Govt Intitutes of technology functioning under GNCT have been merged with Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) . The alumni of the diploma institutes are very well placed in various reputed organizations including government sector as well as public sector organizations and MNCs.For the Academic Year – 2021, DTTE is offering 17 full time diploma programs in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Vocational based disciplines are being offered at 08 AICTE approved Institutes of Technology (01 Government-Aided and 07 Privately Managed), affiliated with the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Delhi. For this purpose, applications are invited from all eligible candidates who have qualified CET conducted by Delhi Skill & Entrepreneurship University (DSEU )and have a valid merit rank for admission to the first semester/first year of various AICTE approved full-time diploma programs (Engineering/Non-Engineering), run in the govt. aided and privately managed institutes under Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi affiliated to Board of Technical Education for the academic session 2021-22. Admission of such candidates will be on the basis of merit rank of DSEU only. Admission for the Year 2021-22 is also available for lateral entry of 10+2 (PCM/B) qualified candidates from schools located in Delhi or candidates who have qualified 10th class and successfully completed two years’ course from Industrial Training Institutions (ITIs) located in Delhi. Applications for lateral entry admissions are also invited from students who will be eligible for admission to Second Year/Third Semester of Full-Time Diploma Engineering courses in analogous disciplines against 10% supernumerary seats earmarked for them subject to regulations or guidelines issued by the AICTE or the Government of NCT of Delhi. However, ITI pass-outs of trades for which the entry level qualification for admission to ITI is VIII pass or the duration of ITI trade is less than TWO years shall not be considered for lateral entry
